Childbirth
Childbirth is the final stage of your pregnancy, an exciting and unforgettable moment. Most babies are born in the week after the due date. Between 37 and 42 weeks is a normal period for giving birth.
Relaxation and rest
In the weeks before giving birth, it can be nice to go out into nature to clear your head. Also, get as much rest as possible so that you can go into labor feeling well-rested.

Preparation
Prepare in a way that suits you. You can read about childbirth, do relaxation exercises, take yoga classes, or choose a course. At our practice, we offer Centering Pregnancy: a combination of care and information sharing, which will help you prepare for childbirth, among other things.
Talk to your partner about your wishes and preferences. We'll take the time to do this around 30 weeks of pregnancy: you can make many choices about the birth. You can also document your wishes in a birth plan. We'll support you in making decisions that feel right for both of you.
