How we handle your data is described in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). After registering, you will receive a form describing what we do with all your data and explicitly requesting your consent.

Complaints

Please let us know if you have any concerns or complaints about our care. You'll be dealing with a lot during pregnancy. That's why we believe it's incredibly important that you feel comfortable with your midwife.

From the moment your test is positive, you can contact us, and we'll do everything we can to optimize our care for you. Do you have any questions, concerns, or are you dissatisfied with anything? Please let us know. Preferably as soon as possible, but even if you've been struggling with something for a while. We're always open to talking to see if we can resolve it together. Sometimes it turns out to be a misunderstanding, or we can reassure you in another way. Or perhaps we can adjust our care so you feel comfortable again.

Conversation
It's possible that when you tell us you have a concern, we don't have time to address it thoroughly. This may be frustrating for you, but we appreciate your understanding. We will then schedule a time with you as soon as possible to discuss everything.

KNOV Complaints Committee
If a consultation is not possible or if we are unable to reach a resolution together, we will refer you to the CBKZ. This is the Central Bureau for Complaints Management in Healthcare, and you can submit your complaint to an independent complaints officer. They are always impartial and will discuss your complaint with you and determine what is needed to resolve it. They can offer advice or support you in a consultation with us. The practice and the complaints officer aim to resolve complaints within six weeks. You can contact the CBKZ at 088-0245123 or send an email to klachtverloskundige@cbkz.nl.

Dispute Resolution Body
If you cannot reach an agreement with the complaints officer, you can submit your complaint to the Dispute Resolution Body. This independent body will investigate and assess the validity of your complaint and issue a binding decision. For more information, see www.geschillenautoriteitverloskunde.nl.
